Research on trypanosomes performing experiments to generate mutant cells and analyze DNA, RNA, and protein changes. Large data analysis using sophisticated computational resources/tools. Write publications, attend conferences, organize data, and support less experienced trainees.Qualifications:PhD in molecular and cellular biology or related field. Hands-on molecular and cellular biology experience and knowledge of bioinformatics.For more information on the work done in Prof. Igor Cestari’s lab, visit the Cestari lab website:Group C (Unionized) Postdoctoral Researchers are Research Fellows recognized by the Quebec government employed at McGill with a valid Doctoral degree (PhD or MD) for a maximum of 5 years after obtaining their Doctoral Degree.The incumbent is unionized if more than 25% of his salary is paid by McGill Research funds.Group C Unionized hold a dual status as both students and McGill employees and are members of the AMURE (Postdocs) bargaining unit.
