Location: Markham, OntarioJob Description:Job SummaryAs our Assistant Manager, CRM Marketing, you’ll be at the heart of building meaningful relationships with our furry friends and their loving families. You’ll play a crucial role in developing and executing innovative CRM strategies that drive customer loyalty, engagement, and providing expertise.This role will report to Director, Performance Marketing, and work closely with our Loyalty and Analytics team, Creative team, and our CRM agency to deliver targeted loyalty emails and relevant email journeys that are meaningful and relevant to customers.This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive CRM strategy, with a focus on leading automated email campaigns with promotional offers as well as launching new CRM journeys. This role requires strategic thinking, as well as strong communication and project management skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and implementation of manual and triggered CRM journeys based on customer’s purchase behavior and their pet’s profiles
  • Lead the strategy and project manage for data driven, targeted loyalty email campaigns targeting different customer segments with personalized promotions. Works closely with our Loyalty and Analytics team to understand business priorities, identify opportunities and customer segments, as well as optimizations of existing workflow
  • Drives the strategy for measurement and KPIs for each CRM project, gathering necessary metrics and data points to create insightful actionable learnings
  • Adopts a test & learn approach, leveraging data to provide rationale and results
  • Collaborate with internal teams on QA to test assets across different environments before deployment

Experience, Education, Certifications

  • Excellent project management, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading manual and automated CRM projects or journeys from strategy to implementation
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct-to-consumer Email Marketing (in-house or agency side) with hands on email marketing experience
  • Expert of email deployment platforms required (Responsys experience preferred)
  • Strong HTML, list segmentation and email reporting experience required
  • Experience in a retail organization an asset
  • Knowledge of analytical platform like Google Analytics
