We are looking for an outstanding Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on Computer Vision to join our clients research team in Oxford. You will be instrumental in driving innovation for our clients leading-edge products. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the technical direction, explore new research areas, and lead your own projects.
This position is a Hybrid role which requires 2-3 days on site in out clients Oxfordshire offices.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of advanced complex products with a focus on research and innovation.Qualifications:
- Relevant academic (research Masters/PhD level) and/or industry experience.
Essential Skills:
- Experience solving computer vision problems-such as object detection and human pose estimation-using machine learning methods like CNNs and ViTs, combined with non-ML algorithms.
- Proven experience with advanced techniques for modeling human and object shape, appearance, and movement.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Expertise in handling large spatio-temporal datasets and applying machine learning for time-series analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and ML toolkits such as PyTorch, Lightning, etc.
Desirable Skills:
- Relevant conference, journal, or peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience delivering the full ML development lifecycle, from research prototypes to production within standalone applications.
- Interest and experience in human motion capture, sports, or animation tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with C++.
