The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive computer science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality computer science lessons.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
- Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and school events.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in computer science education and integrate new technologies into the curriculum.
Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching computer science at secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and software development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
