Hours: 34 hrs per week / 39 weeks per year / Monday to Friday, 0815– 1545 inclusive of lunch break and contingency duties
Contract type: PermanentAshgate Primary School is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly skilled Learning Support Assistant (LSA). The successful candidate will be expected to have a Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent experience.The role will be to support the learning of groups and individuals with a wide range of academic, physical, social and emotional needs, as well as general support for wider learning activities. The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the class teacher and independently assist groups and individuals.The position is predominantly a mixed Year 1/2 class; however, a successful candidate would be required to have the skills, experience and capacity to work across the primary age range and may be deployed as such at any time.Candidates are expected to have the personal determination, commitment and ambition to secure improved outcomes for children and the energy to deliver high-quality experiences in exciting and innovative ways.
