Customer Service Representative in Lombard, Illinois

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Lombard, Illinois, within the manufacturing industry. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in customer service and call center operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer service to customers, ensuring their queries and complaints are addressed promptly and effectively

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls and resolve customer issues in a professional manner

• Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints

• Proactively inform customers about the reason they are receiving a ticket, ensuring they understand it’s not an actual fine yet

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient customer service process

• Utilize strong communication skills to de-escalate situations with upset customers, providing clear and concise information

• Maintain customer confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and proficiency in customer service and call center customer service.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to customer service.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

• Prior experience in a customer service role in the manufacturing industry would be advantageous.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Higher qualification in a relevant field would be a plus.
