The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes, particularly in institutional projects. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize project performance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, conducting regular site visits to address issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, budget tracking, and risk assessments, to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, change orders, and project documentation to ensure all aspects are managed effectively.

  • A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, particularly with large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience managing between 1 to 3 full-cycle new build institutional projects valued between $15M and $80M.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations in Ontario.
  • PMP, LEED, or Gold Seal certifications are considered assets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
