We are looking to recruit a Consultant Physician with an interest in Gastroenterology to join our team at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth.We are looking for a motivated and committed individual who will provide a high quality gastroenterology and endoscopic service and join colleagues in a very dynamic and forward thinking team.The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with all aspects of gastroenterology and take part in the consultant general medicine on call rota which is currently 1:10.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will:Provide a comprehensive gastroenterology serviceOffer acute inpatient assessment and treatmentDeliver outpatient clinics and procedures in accordance with the contractual requirements within the parameters of the Health Board’s objectives.And support the development and delivery of a sub-specialty service in hospital and in the community.About usHywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties.
