We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our thriving Humanities department.About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Humanities Teacher to inspire and engage our students. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge across the Humanities disciplines (e.g., Geography, History, RE) and a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of all abilities.Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable)
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Contributing to the development of the Humanities curriculum
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department and across the school
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
- Participating in school events and activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A strong academic background in Humanities subjects
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Humanities
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
- A commitment to high standards of achievement and behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
