The ideal candidates will have clinical as well as academic expertise and a track record of research in Optometry and related topics.The School of Optometry and Vision Sciences is one of the oldest in the UK and provides a supportive and developmental environment to all academic staff.What you will be doing:
- Undertake research informed teaching and teaching related activities, to be agreed with the Head of Department.
- Plan, deliver and assess innovative, engaging and challenging teaching activities which provide a distinctive and exceptional student experience.
- Ensure teaching is research-led with subject content underpinned by relevant specialist research.
Qualifications/ experience:
- PhD (or equivalent) in Optometry, or a relevant subject area
- Honours degree (or equivalent) in Optometry
