This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to a collaborative and innovative learning community.Position OverviewThe successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Science curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5. The role entails fostering a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages critical thinking, scientific curiosity, and a deep understanding of the scientific world.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver captivating Science lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school’s educational philosophy.
  • Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement, participation, and a love for science.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Science education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
