If you’re an agile thinker who enjoys utilizing modern technology to make big improvements, then you’re a perfect fit for out DT team.We have an immediate career growth opportunity with our Program Work Environment team for a talented Principal Platform Engineer to join our team at Langley AFB – Hampton, VA** This position is onsite in Langley AFB, VA. **What YOU will do:You will work in a collaborative environment on implementation and integration of a hybrid-infrastructure software platforms (Pivotal Cloud Foundry and AWS).You will maintain a high level of availability for all mission critical software systems.You will identify and resolve system problems as a key contributor to this dynamic team.You will design or administer Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and controls.What YOU will Learn:You will foster relationships with your DT peers all over the world that work and WANT to work at Collins.Qualifications you must have:Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.Requires minimum 5 years of platform engineering / support.Three (3) years of experience developing and operating containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Cloud Foundry or KubernetesDeveloper platform services and APIs that scale in production.Building and sustaining production services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure; building and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines.Requires prior experience working in a collaborative environment requiring frequent teaming and written / verbal communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.Experience managing, reporting, and facilitating certification of access for all in-scope resources (including SaaS, AWS, Azure, CSS managed applications, tools, and systems).Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
