Job description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring exceptional service delivery, fostering lasting relationships, and demonstrating expertise in construction methodology, financial risk assessment, and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to completion, managing complex projects valued between $10M to $30M.
  • Collaborate with a team to ensure incomparable service delivery and build lasting relationships.
  • Demonstrate expertise in construction methodology, financial risk assessment, and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide exceptional management for projects, multitasking all project-related items across various projects simultaneously.
  • Plan construction projects and prepare detailed construction schedules.
  • Prepare estimate documentation and execute the bid process with designated subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with owners, architects, and all other project team members throughout the construction/project management process.

General Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of construction industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Construction Act and CCDC and CCA documents.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in and support a strong team concept while having the ability to work independently.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of building processes, costs, and scheduling.
  • Highly experienced in MS Office (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Procore, Sage, or similar software.
  • Strong English language communication skills (written, oral, and conflict resolution skills).
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel.
  • Evidence of a “safety first” attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Expected salary

$125000 – 140000 per year
