Overview
The incumbent will work under the Team Lead- Surveillance to accomplish the EGHS project finance and operations objectives maintaining Jhpiego’s global standards. S/he will provide overall program support in the field of administration, financial, and logistics issues to implement the field-level activities as well as national-level dissemination and closeout meetings of the EGHS project.

Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare activity budgets in consultation with the EGHS project team following the project work plan.
- Coordinate/receive EGHS project activity advances as needed and ensure settlement within the appropriate timeline.
- Prepare and submit EGHS project activity/travel expenses to the finance team with relevant evidence and supportive documents for reconciliation/reimbursement.
- Support to track EGHS project expenses to assist with financial reporting.
- Maintain stock of supplies and logistics required for EGHS project implementation including sharing of availability or need of procurement with the project team on time.
- Coordinate with Admin to ensure all logistics requirements are met as per EGHS project activity or travel needs.
- Raise procurement requests as per EGHS project needs following approval and support the procurement team to complete the procurement process and supply the goods to the end users.
- Support Government Liaison to adhere to NGOAB regulations including CLA for EGHS project.
- Prepare a Bangla / English letter for issuing GO on different occasions related to EGHS project.
- Provide support to the EGHS project team in organizing events, meetings, workshops etc.
- Coordinate and communicate all relevant program people and govt. stakeholders for successful event management.
- Assist the EGHS project team in implementing the field-level activities as required.
- Adhere to Jhpiego’s financial and operational policies to accomplish the project activities.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Finance/ Admin/ secretarial job, preferably in NGO/ INGO.
- Computer literacy with skills in Bijoy 52 Bangla typing, MS Excel, MS Word, MS, Power Point and MS Outlook.
- Bachelors / BBA in Finance & Accounting / Management or other relevant subject.
- Masters / MBA in Finance & Accounting / Management will get preference.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding on budget preparation, record keeping, report preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, Excel)
- Be willing to take on extra responsibilities to achieve the goals/objectives set by the organization.
- Willingness for field visit using public transportation to accomplish the assignments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
