A successful candidate will have the following:
FH is seeking an experienced Director Mental & Physical Wellbeing (Dir M&PWB) professional who will be responsible for building organizational capabilities to design, develop, and deliver holistic and sustainable solutions to realize the goal of Mental & Physical Wellbeing as an area of flourishing under the program model. The qualified Dir M&PWB will have 10 years of experience working in international development, ideally in Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (MCAHN), with experience leading teams in a medium or large-sized organization.
Additionally, the top candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and:
● A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH’s Christian beliefs.
● Sound technical knowledge and working experience in leading programming related to Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (MCAHN).
● Proven practical experience demonstrating the use of Systems Practice, Human Centered Design Methodology, and research methods.
● Ability to travel up to 35% of time domestically and internationally, to insecure countries or locations.

What you’ll do…
As the Dir M&PWB, you will:
● Provide leadership to develop and deepen a culture of innovation, research, and knowledge creation for Mental and Physical Wellbeing.
● Lead a team to provide operational management, leadership, strategy, and vision for areas related to Mental and Physical Well-being that enable FH to gain comparative and competitive advantage in the market.
● Provide demand-based, professional services for operational excellence in Mental and Physical well-being in support of the people we serve.
● Develop program quality standards to improve the fidelity of implementation of programs related to Mental and Physical well-being to deepen and sustain missional impact.
● Preposition FH for possible funding opportunities related to Mental and Physical Wellbeing.
● Lead assessment, technical designing, and writing of concept notes and grants related to Mental and Physical Wellbeing.
● Develop research and learning agenda for Mental and Physical Wellbeing.
● Publish well-researched articles in reputed journals demonstrating the learning and effectiveness of Mental and Physical well-being programming.
● Engage with external stakeholders and provide thought leadership in Mental and Physical well-being to influence the global community.
● Participate and represent FH in relevant external conferences and Mental and Physical well-being forums.
