Our state-of-the-art facilities utilize advanced technology to ensure consistency and quality while meeting the evolving needs of our consumers and customers.Overview:This position is a sales professional role responsible for leading and managing business development for key customers in a defined geographic area or channel, in support of annual Net Operating Income (NOI) objectives and Net Sales Budget, keeping within Trade Spend.Key Ingredients:
- Develop and execute long and short-term customer, category and/or regional growth strategies and plans.
- Achieve top and bottom line targets in assigned area(s) of business.
- Work very closely with cross-functional counterparts in sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, manufacturing and finance to ensure integration and executional excellence.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts in Promax for manufacturing and planning purposes.
- Effectively manage Trade Spend Budget and continually seek to improve Trade Spend Effectiveness (TSE) measure.
- Create winning partnerships with customers, brokers and distributors, delivering enhanced value for all parties.
- Leverage syndicated and internal data to drive category leadership and market share growth.
- Develop account-specific business plans that deliver incremental support and results with an intensified focus on innovation.
- Provide leadership, communication and direction to the Dare Field Sales organization regarding the client set via the Director, Field Selling or Retail Team Leaders or directly to the Territory Sales Managers.
- Assists and supports Maintenance Manager regarding annual budget and proper allocation of spend.
- Responds to on-call needs for Production (equipment and/or facility) system emergencies as required.
- Performs risk assessment and GAP analysis of Production equipment and facility systems and recommends continuous improvement, cost improvement actions.
- Writes and maintains relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Bulletins and other related documents
- Ensures Maintenance team routinely use the CMMS to document maintenance work and log parts consumption.
- Working closely with other departments, including Production and Engineering to understand needs for Maintenance support.
- Performs training requirements assessment for Maintenance group and develops, implements, and maintains training program to ensure Maintenance team can fully and proficiently support all Maintenance needs across all shifts.
- Responsible for coaching, disciplining and annual performance reviews of all direct reports.

- Post Secondary degree or diploma in Business or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of consistently exceeding sales objectives in a key account environment.
- Strong grocery background; key account experience an asset.
- Excellent business/ financial acumen.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; able to quickly identify and prioritize key business development opportunities with current and new accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Effective both independently, and as part of a high performance team.
- High sense of urgency and results-focused.
- Able to travel regionally and/or nationally as required.
- Effectively work from a home office (if required).
- Available to attend customer trade events during specified periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP, Cognos and various syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, customer-specific POS) are all strong assets.
- Valid driver’s license.
- This position will require conversational and written communication in both French and English
