Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana. The successful candidate will be part of our team in the insurance industry, handling client data and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle all incoming communication, including mail, faxes, and phone calls.
• Conduct accurate and complete data entry, scanning, and image indexing.
• Take on different unit functions through cross-training and fill in for absent associates.
• Accurately distribute written and oral communication within the organization.
• Ensure the accuracy of all data that is entered or distributed to clients, including associates, members, agents, and vendors.
• Receive office guests, determine the nature of their business, and direct them to the intended destination.
• Process, sort and distribute financial transactions to meet our customers and clients’ needs.
• Handle simple service requests and direct more complex communication to the appropriate individuals.
• Carry out other administrative duties that help the company stand out among its competitors.
• Take on special projects as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling inbound outbound calls in a professional manner.
• Demonstrated skill in call center customer service, delivering high-quality customer service at all times.
• Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage email correspondence swiftly and efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks.
• Experience in order entry, ensuring all orders are accurately processed in a timely manner.
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and software applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry is preferred but not required.
