Well… you might just be in the right place!We’re looking for a Senior Director of Sales to lead our Outbound Retail POS Sales team. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a motivated sales team ensuring the region exceeds it’s monthly revenue targets, customer acquisition goals, and other strategic KPIs. You will drive operational excellence through process optimisation, new channel development, launching new strategic initiatives, and continuously elevating team performance, fostering a culture of growth and success.​​What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and develop a high-performing sales team, including overseeing the growth of other people managers.
  • Drive sales training and development programs to elevate the skills and capabilities of the broader sales team.
  • Lead Lightspeed’s customer and revenue acquisition efforts and strategic focus in the region; Ensure the region continually exceeds revenue and other key performance targets
  • Perform regular reporting and analysis to support a data-driven sales strategy.
  • Focus on key metrics such as throughput, processes, and results to drive sales performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Revenue Operations team to align on goals and optimise sales processes.
  • Present feedback for the overall company product roadmap, be the voice of the customer
  • Work towards reduction in customer churn
  • Participate in recruitment and hiring
  • Manage different projects and initiatives

What you need to bring:The ideal candidate for this role possesses the ability to inspire, motivate, and coach large and dynamic sales teams. With great people leadership capability, you have the ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders with a hands-on and proactive approach.

  • Extensive experience growing and leading a large sales teams, with specific focus on leading and growing the Outbound Sales motion
  • A bias towards coaching and development to get the best out of people
  • Relevant work experience in an industry like retail, IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, or technology
  • Thorough experience in analysing and reporting on metrics and data, and compiling reports
  • Experience in directing large high performing outbound sales teams in a high velocity environment
  • Proven experience developing and executing on growth strategies
  • Ability to shift easily between high level strategic talks and basic operational tasks
