Please note, this post is permanent and full-time at 1 FTE.Are you an experienced health and care researcher looking for your next career move?The University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a Professor of Healthy Ageing to join the School of Health and Care Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to lead research that transforms lives and communities locally, regionally, and nationally whilst also generating data of international significance. Our university is deeply committed to working with our partners across Lincolnshire’s Integrated Care System fostering collaborations across the health and care sector. This post offers a fantastic opportunity to build on our established success in health and social care research, while also serving as a role model for health and social care professionals within the school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing research capacity among our staff and students, fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation.The School of Health and Care Sciences works closely with the Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH), the country’s first integrated and multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to rural and coastal health research. LIRCH has been awarded £10.9 million funding from Research England’s Expanding Excellence in England (E3) fund and is currently undergoing significant expansion.We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our established academic team, to lead research, support research capacity development within Lincolnshire and to contribute to teaching in our Health and Social Care Portfolio. Ideally, you will be a current registrant within an NMC, HCPC, GPhC or SWE regulated profession, although this is not essential.Situated in the heart of a historic city, the University of Lincoln is committed to transforming lives and communities through our teaching and research.
