We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Reception Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, starting in January 2025. This is a fantastic chance to work within a nurturing environment, where children’s development and well-being are at the heart of everything the school does.Responsibilities of the Reception Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support the developmental needs of Reception-aged children.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and motivated to learn.
  • Support children in developing key skills such as social, emotional, and communication skills through a balanced approach to both academic and personal growth.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development both in school and at home.
  • Participate in school-wide activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Suitable Applicants Must Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within an early years setting, with a passion for working with young children in Reception.
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and how to create rich learning experiences for young learners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with children and their families, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
