Accounts Payable Specialist in Urbandale, Iowa

Robert Half is partnering with an established entity in the manufacturing industry who is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract position. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to use their skills to support an expanding organization and contribute towards efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage purchase orders, invoices, vendor statements, and payment transactions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Netsuite.

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with accounts payable promptly and professionally.

• Abide by internal control processes and procedures.

• Manage month-end activities, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.

• Collaborate with other departments, building strong lines of communication and partnership.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role.

• Prior hands-on experience with Netsuite ERP is crucial.

• Proven ability to handle a high volume of invoices and transactions.

• Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting procedures.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• In-depth understanding of financial controls and processes.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
