Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine mammalian and iPSC cell culture systems and derived models for target validation workflows, including 2D and 3D organoid models.
  • Optimize and implement CRISPR/a/i/9/13 systems, including transduction and transfection.
  • Conducting and analysing high-throughput screening workflows using NGS, single-cell sequencing, and microscopy.
  • Maintain detailed experimental records (ELN) and communicate findings through presentations and reports.
  • Contribute to platform strategy through writing scientific publications, participating in strategy sessions, and supporting grant and IP filings.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Extensive cell biology experience, including expertise in iPSC maintenance, iPSC-derived models and CRISPR-based methods.
  • Experience with organoid-based models.
  • Proficiency with image-based analysis techniques.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Basic coding proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
  • Interest in developing computational skills, including machine learning and lab automation (e.g., DoE).
  • Excellent molecular biology skills, including PCR, ELISA, and sequencing library prep.

Education & Qualifications

  • PhD or postdoctoral experience in Molecular or Cell Biology or a related field.
  • Prior experience in an industrial, entrepreneurial, or start-up environment is a plus.
