We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN teacher for a well-respected school in Newham The chosen candidate for this SEN teacher position will join a team of experienced educators who prioritise the academic and social success of their students.This role is an excellent opportunity for an SEN teacher who has experience teaching SEN students and is looking to make a positive impact in their lives.SEN teacher responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a motivating and engaging SEN curriculum for students with varying needs
- Develop and deliver individualised education plans for each student
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse learning abilities of each student
- Provide regular feedback to students, families and colleagues on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure each student’s needs are being met and make necessary adjustments to curriculum and IEPs
- Assess student learning levels and provide additional support and resources where necessary
- Actively participate in school-wide professional development opportunities and staff meetings
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience teaching SEN students
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of a range of learners
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about ensuring the best possible outcomes for SEN students
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate well with colleagues and other stakeholders
- Organised and efficient with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
