These are the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as the homeland of the Métis.The bigger picture:We’re looking for a Wealth Planner to join our Thrive Wealth Management team who is passionate about providing new and existing clients with holistic financial planning. You’ll work with an experienced team of credit union employees as well as colleagues within the credit union walls to provide advice and solutions that meet client’s needs.How you’ll spend your time:As a Wealth Planner, you will create custom financial and wealth plans for new and existing Thrive clients. You will be empowered to build and implement creative business development solutions working with a team of experienced advisory and insurance professionals. You will provide world-class advice and solutions to our high-net-worth clients who may have complex planning needs.The way people describe you:You are the ultimate team player, thriving in an environment where building strong partnerships is critical to success. Your high-level understanding of financial strategies and complex planning for individuals and business owners sets your service apart. You are ready to proactively build business through our credit union partnerships, external networking and strong relationships with our internal wealth team.The experience you bring:
- 2+ years of financial service and planning experience
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional
- Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC) is a strong asset
- Proven networking and client acquisition skills
- Ability to build strong partner relationships
- Experience in tax or estate planning is an asset
- Experience in the insurance and investment industry is an asset
