This is a lab based role (~70% of the time)What you’ll doWork closely with a cross-disciplinary R&D team of Biologists, Chemists, Engineers and Material Scientists to support process development activities.Design and develop experiments and methods for product characterisationProvide support to ensure laboratory compliance to Environment Health & Safety regulationsBalance your workload across multiple development projects.Write reports and interrogate data generated from various analytical methods.Help develop the Fibro technology platform and launch new products.Help to follow up post-product launch with Customer Care activities.Will be responsible for maintaining quality standards throughout all lab processes.Prepare and present data internally in the form of presentations, technical reports, memos and eLNs.Who you areHold a bioscience-based PhD (Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or similar) with 3+ years of industrial experienceYou will have experience in tech transfer and/or analytical method validationYou will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and sticking to critical project timelinesDemonstrable understanding of chromatography unit operations, including scale-upConfident participating and presenting in teams within a matrix environmentExperience in developing new methodsOrganised, self-starting, innovative, collaborative and hardworkingWho we areWhatever your role, we bring purpose and challenge into our everyday work.
