Technical Strategy & OperationsThis full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.Summary of the roleA permanent full-time Assistant Technician is required at the University of Exeter, on Streatham Campus. The post will be based in the Hatherly Building, a cross-faculty and multidisciplinary research-focused environment, that includes labs from Clinical and Biomedical Sciences, Biosciences and Geography departments. The successful candidate will work as part of the technical team to carry out a range of key technical duties to support academic staff, researchers and students working in class I and II research laboratories, with facilities for electrophysiology, neurosciences, fire and marine sciences, tissue culture, microbiology, microscopy, and biochemistry.Activities in Hatherly are currently enjoying significant expansion with many new research groups joining the labs in the building; it’s therefore an exciting time to join this dynamic, highly motivated and award-winning team.
