Unit : Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Salary : £19,237 stipend (+uplift and grant where applicable) Please quote reference : Full Time PhD Studentships at The School of Physical Sciences, STEM Faculty One full time STFC CASE-plus studentships with duration of 3.5 years, and three full time studentships with duration of 3 years and 3 months are available from 1 October 2025. Closing Date : 23 January, 2025 – 17:00Applications for funded PhD projects to commence on 1st October 2025 are now open at the School of Physical Sciences. The projects available are listed here:The studentships cover fees, include a stipend £19,237 per annum for 2024-2025 full-time study), and also include £1,000 research training support grant per annum.To be eligible for funding, applicants must meet the UKRI academic requirements. We normally require that the candidates have at least a 2:1 at UK BSc or MSc level, but some projects may differ – please check the project description or confirm with the main supervisor of the project you are interested in.
