The University of Leicester is seeking a Teaching Fellow in Computer Science to join our School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching in areas including computer science, software engineering, and information security at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will contribute to lectures, tutorials, and project supervision, while fostering a positive and inclusive environment that prioritises student success.You will also play a key role in curriculum development, assessment, and the continuous enhancement of our programmes. This role is central to advancing the university’s mission of being impactful, inclusive, and inspiring in all aspects of its teaching and learning environment.About youWe are looking for a candidate with a passion for teaching and providing a great experience to our students. You will have a PhD (or be near completion) in computer science, software engineering, information security, or a related discipline. Experience in supporting high-quality teaching and fostering productive relationships with students and colleagues is essential.You will be able to teach and supervise across core and applied areas of computer science and will demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm. Experience with digital learning environments like Blackboard or Moodle is desirable, as is a record of delivering lectures, assessments, and lab sessions.
