What you’ll do:As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role working daily to build relationships business with customers and to deliver Messer’s superior standards of customer service, including:
- Identify and attract new customers while maintaining good relationships with existing customers in order to increase sales and exceed customer expectations
- Earn, retain and grow customer accounts in order to contribute to the achievement of sales, service and profitability objectives in a specific sales territory
- Support and develop sales strategies
- Work in collaboration with specialists / technical representative, branches and support functions in order to achieve the objectives
- Contribute to overall region performance as a member of the regional sales and branch team
What it takes:
- College or University Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years or more of experience in sales, preferably in an industrial environment
- Strong organizational, planning, decision making and problem solving skills
- High level of computer knowledge with the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Assets to have:
- Knowledge of the gas and/or welding industry
- Certification in welding or similar trade
- Knowledge of SAP software
