Job Title: Food Technology Teacher – MainstreamLocation:Manchester, M20Job Type:Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 – 3:00)Salary:£150 – £200 per dayJob Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative food technology lessons to secondary school students.
- Evaluate and provide constructive feedback to students regarding their performance.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
- Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans to ensure students meet academic standards.
- Supervise practical food preparation activities and ensure students adhere to safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Food Technology or related field
- Experience teaching food technology at the secondary school level.
Education:
- Degree in Food Technology or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience:
- Teaching food technology at the secondary school level.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of food technology concepts and practises.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and inspire students.
- Organisational and time management abilities to effectively plan and manage lessons.
Expected salary
£200 per day
