You will play a key role in delivering high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering their creativity and critical thinking skills. - Location: Leeds
- Contract: Full time role
- Pay Rate: £150 – £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking in your students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
- Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback to the students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share teaching strategies or resources.
- Incorporate technology into lessons, using digital platforms and tools to enhance learning and communication.
- Formative and summative assessment
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching practices and subject matter.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.
- Engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to promote positive relationships and student success
