As the Director of Strategy, you’ll serve as senior advisor and partner to the VP of DI SW Corporate Strategy, helping to complete strategic priorities that span across multiple departments, zones, industries, and product segments. Working closely with the Strategy leadership team to get results across the company. Great opportunity for visibility and awareness of how we ‘run the business’.
Essential Functions:
Ideal candidate is upbeat, flexible and highly organized, can work cross functionally to identify business needs and is comfortable deriving meaning and relevance from data and perspectives. In this role, you will collaborate with numerous internal groups, at all levels of management and must be able to quickly form productive working collaborations of varying technical, skill level, and business backgrounds and to lead, influence and drive critical programs to fruition. The ideal candidate must be collaborative and a self-starter with a focus on balance of strategy and disciplined execution.
Responsibilities:

Be a thought partner to VP Strategy on strategic topics and programs.

Ensure program achievements and objectives are met. Communicate program progress and milestones to internal and external partners

Act as a sounding board to DI SW Strategy leadership team on matters of strategy, team efficiency, and operations

Run Quarterly Business Review (QBR) for DI SW Strategy organization, including oversight of results dashboard.

Drive and lead cross-team central initiatives, multiple and sophisticated projects; including the development and implementation of organizational strategies and tactics

Identify interdependencies and build bridges across strategy organization and program teams to get things done.

Coordinate, lead and drive execution of strategic projects that are beyond the scope of one program

Develop Strategy communications, distilling and communicating key messages to extended team and collaborators across the company

Contribute to communicating the strategy concisely via presentations, docs, blogs, videos, other media

Help lead and run effective team meetings, including defining agenda, facilitating meetings as needed, gather minutes and action items, and follow-ups as needed

Champion and lead efforts across the team to make this team a great place to work
Skills and Abilities Required:
-
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a program management leadership role with strategic project execution/implementation skills. Exceptional organizational and change management experience with a strong sense of ownership/bias for action to deliver results

Strong leadership skills with proven track record to influence/negotiate and garner support for objectives; comfortable negotiating and driving timely decisions

Validated strong analytical, data-driven and problem-solving skills; a willingness and ability to operate at both higher and more detailed levels as required

Must be a flexible and creative individual capable of leading and handling multiple priorities and projects in a fast paced, often ambiguous and diverse environment

Skilled diplomat with high levels of professional confidence and intuition for business

Validated effective written and oral communication skills with demonstrated experience of successfully working across organizational lines and strong executive presentation skills

Candidate should possess a strong understanding of current trends, technologies, and best practices within the software industry.

The salary range for this position is $168,700 to $303,700 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
