Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data collected from program activities into designated databases.
  • Verify data accuracy and completeness before entering it into systems.
  • Conduct quality checks to identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, or missing information in data sets.
  • Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for all data-related activities.
  • Adhere to organizational data privacy and confidentiality policies.
  • Ensure data security practices are followed to safeguard sensitive program information.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field such as statistics, information management, social sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably within development program context.
  • Proficiency in data entry tools and software (e.g., MS Excel, Google Sheets, KoboToolbox, or DHIS II).
  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
