Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the wholesale distribution industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relations, resolving inquiries, and maintaining an organized record of customer data. You will be heavily involved in processing customer orders and transactions while also ensuring efficient scheduling of services and installations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process customer credit applications and accurately maintain customer credit records.

• Handle customer requests regarding order tracking, product availability, and order expediting for residential only.

• Keep customers informed about potential backorders, credit issues, order availability, and any other order-related information.

• Actively troubleshoot and follow up on customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Accurately enter orders for small to medium accounts, ranging from 30k to 80k a year.

• Conduct clerical tasks such as answering/screening/telephone calls to the appropriate person, resolving calls concerning orders, quotes, etc., and handling daily invoicing of orders.

• Manage credit card payments and transactions as required.

• Assist in maintaining inventory control including but not limited to cycle counts, daily review of inventory levels, scrap processing, and loss prevention as needed.

• Aid in unloading and loading vendor and customer vehicles as required.

• Monitor the completion of daily customer shipments as needed.

• Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience in answering inbound calls in a detail-oriented manner

• Previous experience in a call center customer service role is essential

• Strong background in providing high-quality customer service

• Proficient in data entry operations with a keen eye for details

• Experience in email correspondence, handling customer queries and complaints

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and report generation

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word for document creation and editing

• Experience in order entry and processing in a wholesale distribution environment

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and manage customer expectations

• Experience in preparing and managing customer invoices
