About the RoleThe post is for a fixed term (initially funded to 31 March 2028) and is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.You will be an internationally recognised clinical academic, who has established the strategic direction of major research programmes in the area of psycho-immunology . You will provide intellectual leadership and contribute to research both at an international level and across the Medical Sciences Division. The post will particularly suit someone leading research in the use of genomic and single cell data to undertake immunophenotyping of severe mental illness, as this will align with current research priorities in the Department and the molecular targets theme of the Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre Molecular_targets .About YouYou will be medically qualified, GMC registered and a Member, or Fellow, of the relevant Royal College), with a Higher degree PhD or MD. As a leading authority in psycho-immunology, you will have the depth of knowledge to enable the development of innovation and new understanding in the field of molecular diagnostics.
