Seeking a seasoned professional with 6 – 10 years of proven track record of PMO or Program/Portfolio Management within the Technology, Banking or Consultancy industry.Background OverviewThe Global Equities Cash & Derivatives Technology Group provides innovative and client-focused technology solutions to enable the Global Equities Cash and Derivatives Businesses with best-in-class client connectivity, trading execution capabilities, pricing, analytics and risk management platforms. Our key focus areas are expanding our product offering with low latency, fortifying controls for execution stack, and the multi-year strategic transformation agenda to deliver simplification and scalability, which underpins Equities’ response to Consent Order.The successful candidate will report to the Global Strategy & Planning Team Lead in the Global Equities Cash & Derivatives Technology Group.The Program Management Lead will oversee a team of PMO (Project Management Office) in partnering with key internal stakeholders from Technology, COO and CAO teams to drive end-to-end governance and reporting needs of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of Project Management Office (PMO) team by planning, directing and coordinating project management/administration activities for a portfolio of programs and projects within the Global Equities Cash & Derivatives Technology GroupEnsure essential PMO procedures are followed within team and the wider group. Update and maintain internal processes in the delivery of relevant project management (PM) governance documents are in accordance with Citi PM Policies and PM StandardsProvide oversight of incremental enhancement requests for PM governance documents by providing thorough impact analysis and centrally coordinate accordingly on each requestDrive awareness across the Global Equities Cash & Derivatives Technology Group to ensure understanding and adoption of best practices and new mandatesAct as Subject Matter Expert related to the Citi standard project management and investment management tools by providing support on inquiries raised across the organization, provide training to other project managers and business analystsCoach and mentoring immediate team of PMO as well as project managers and business analysts related to PM best practicesDevelop communications and/or presentations to share status and training materials to showcase new changes in PM governance to key stakeholders and business analysts/project manager communitiesBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders across the programs to define and track key operational/program metrics and to help drive business decisions to achieve goalsWork closely with Business Analysts and Technology Leads to identify and document key performance indicators and critical success criteriaOversee management of project deliveries, monitor and manage risks and challenges whilst escalating to senior management as requiredAppropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Knowledge/Experience:6 – 10 years of Project Management / Project Management Office experience, a Technology, Financial Services, Banking, or Consultancy environmentEquity product knowledge a plusExcellent Microsoft office skills and be an advanced user of Excel and PowerPointExperience working with globally distributed development cross-functional teamsExperience in projects with various methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)Experience with all phases of Software Development LifecycleExperience using application lifecycle tools such as JIRA/JQLComprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysisRecognized program/project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, etc.Skills:Exceptional organization skills, close attention to details – proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to provide effective reporting and documentation including dashboards and scorecardsExcellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate issues, risks and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholdersAbility to work independently, ability to multitask across multiple concurrent projects, ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlinesSelf-motivated with an enthusiastic and proactive approachAbility to work in a globally distributed team environmentKnowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.Developed diplomacy skills – taking a pragmatic and considered approach in order to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas.Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall/Traditional, Agile & Hybrid) required.Education:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceJob Family Group: TechnologyJob Family: Technology Project ManagementTime Type: Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries (“Citi”) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
