CB&PT enables technology, provides strategic partnership, production support and project execution in support of CIBC’s Mortgage, Lending, Insurance, Deposit and Client Account Management (Collections) Lines of Businesses and enables technology for Electronic Payment Services and real-time fraud management. The team member will support the end-to-end contract life cycle for CB&PT.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How you’ll succeedFacilitate contract execution, renewals, amendments, and terminations for the Core Banking & Payments Technology portfolio:Assist in the review, analysis, and execution of contracts for Core Banking & Payments Technology, accurately and in a timely manner.Work in collaboration with the third-party governance office and other internal risk management groups to complete risk assessments for third party arrangements.Work with cross-functional teams within the line of business to understand upcoming vendor engagement requirements and establish a pipeline of work .Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Core Banking & Payments Technology,Corporate Services, Legal, etc.) and external vendors throughout the contract life-cycle, including vendor assessment, negotiation support, contract establishment, and ongoing management.Help summarize existing agreements and participate in yearly planning (including financial).Assist in Vendor Governance Oversight Activities:Monitor service level agreements and help resolve contract or service-related issuesAssist in tracking and enforcing key contract terms such as pricing, audit requirements, and annual contractual requirements.Address vendor management questions from Audit Groups, Risk, Governance & Control, Corporate Services, etc. and complete attestations as required.Support the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for reporting and tracking deliverables.Support Vendor Management Reporting Activities:Assist in managing, monitoring, updating, and improving internal contract status tracking and reporting documents/trackers.Contribute to the continuous delivery and enhancement of dashboards to support senior management decision-making.Support financial management to ensure budget and forecasts align with contracts.Team Support and Coordination:Participate in development opportunities such as job shadowing, special projects, and training to build individual capabilities.Contribute to a positive work environment by embodying CIBC’s mission, vision, and values.Be adaptable to change and new processes and contribute to team efficiency.Who you areYou are a demonstrate experience in understanding of vendor management & CIBC third party governance framework including experience with the Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) process, CIRA process, contractual terms and service level agreements. 1-2 years of experience in similar role is an asset.Adaptability to change in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks/priorities, and drive initiatives to timely conclusions.Strong relationship management skills to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients and peers.Basic project management knowledge and familiarity with tools and techniques for organizing, monitoring, and controlling project delivery portfolios.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and SharePoint.Ability to represent data as insight by designing reports and analyzing trends in service levels, process performance, compliance, and reporting. Nice to have: Experience with storytelling via Tableau, PowerBI or other reporting tools.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing information.You’re digitally savvy.
