Main purpose of job:
The admin support Assistant is an important administrative role within the British High Commission, Islamabad. You will work in the Technical Works Group (TWG) office of the British High Commission. TWG provides facilities management covering all domestic and commercial services the British High Commission. We are looking for a team player who is a confident, hardworking, honest having admin and IT skills. The successful applicant should also have office administrative skills along with knowledge in MS office
As a Admin Support Assistant, you will have to assist the concern team leads in admin related work for their team which includes recording staff leaves on the software, prepare monthly OT, clearance processing. The main responsibilities of this position include data entry in excel sheet & keep all office record in files.
As an Admin Support Assistant, you should have a solid knowledge of MS office with good Data entry skills

Roles and responsibilities that a jobholder will be expected to achieve:
- Take the data of TWG staff from chargehand attendance log and Update leaves of technical staff on monthly basis on software.
- Play role of timekeeper at TWG.
- Assist S band staff on their medical insurance and HR related issues.
- Play role of coordinator between S band staff and TWG management.
- Process clearance of the contractors/visitors.
- Collect work requests data and progress from chargehands on daily basis and sharing it with helpdesk Manager.
- Prepare reports for the supervisory staff on Excel sheet.
- Provide administrative support to all Supervisory staff in record keeping.
- Provide demonstrative support to Head of Section in staff related and HR related matter.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and undertake additional responsibilities as and when required.
- Performing other admin duties as assigned by the Line manager/Head of Section.

For BHC candidates, the Country Based Staff BHC Terms & Conditions will apply.
For other than BHC candidates the basic salary will be PKR 92,809 per month. This salary is non-negotiable.
Please note that the current salaries are being dollarized and processed in USD (using a fixed corporate exchange rate from November 2022) to provide cushion against the current external market conditions. This is a temporary measure and is subject to review at regular intervals. The payroll will revert to local currency processing once the external market conditions are normalised.
BHC offers a great benefits package that comprises of Annual Domiciliary cover and Medical Insurance Scheme which includes PKR 1,500,000 floater coverage per family for self, one spouse/long term partner and children under the age of 19 or under 23, if in full-time education and not gainfully employed. The Annual Domiciliary cover for day-to-day medical payments is up to PKR 200,000 per family (basis actual bills submission).
Additionally, The British High Commission contributes to a retirement provision in the form of a mandatory provident fund.
