Where We Need You:
Protiviti is seeking a Managing Director, Business Performance Improvement focused in the Financial Services Industry to help scale and continue to grow an already well-established business segment.

Managing Directors contribute by leading with an equal focus on client satisfaction, practice growth and the culture of the organization. They serve as the primary contact responsible for maintaining client relationships and furthering these relationships through superior service. They are responsible for overall profitability on client related work as well as managing the profitability of your portfolios. They demonstrate excellent leadership and provide oversight and solution expertise to client contacts and engagement team members; and they adept at managing and developing high performing team members. They effectively solve problems in a timely and equitable fashion. They manage the execution of assignments efficiently with a high degree of quality and ensure effective team collaboration. They manage client expectations, project scope and related fee matters. They are a quality risk management champion and demonstrate the ability to provide clarity and direction during times of uncertainty.

Protiviti’s integrated HR consulting services assists clients to innovate and leverage their organizational transformation while managing change.

You have a dvise d clients on a variety of business process issues that help identify , assess, manage, and measure the organization’s capabilities. Use business process, organizational and technology capabilities, and knowledge across several of the following core focus areas: Target Operating Model, Omnichannel, Cost Optimization, Operations, Finance Transformation, Workflow Processes, Business Transformation, and Technology Transformation.

Strong understanding of shared services and global business services operations and interaction with Business Performance Improvement.

You place a strategic focus on managing and motivating employees, optimizing workforce planning, and aligning people management initiatives with business outcomes for your clients.

You are aware of market and industry trends that will keep the client successful.

You are an expert project manager and can effectively manage a broad range of increasingly complex responsibilities simultaneously.

You build long-term relationships with client leadership across the client’s functions, geography, and business structure.

You uncover new opportunities with existing and new clients and close on opportunities through thought leadership, proposal writing and client interactions.

You are experienced in leading teams in the preparation of proposals and closing of deals.

You continually improve technical and risk management approaches based upon business trends and technical advances. You empower your teams to continuously innovate and bring improved solutions to our clients.

You are comfortable working with other business leaders and are respected within the boarder business community. You are responsible for the financial growth of the organization.
Do Your Talents Include the Following?

Experience in evaluating existing business processes, recommending enhancements, and implementing changes.

Assisting clients manage change through implementation of proposed recommendations.

Leading significant client checkpoint meetings relative to project progress.

Industry expertise in Financial Services with e stablished relationships and work experience within the F inancial S ervices/ B anking I ndustry.

Strong experience architecting Target Operating Model strategies for clients.

Experience leading transformational accounting projects a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships.

Experience participating in or leading business development opportunities

Knowledge of finance strategy development and processes improvement: order-to-cash, procure -to-pay and record-to-report

Strong understanding of shared services and global business services design and implementation

Experience financial reporting, disclosures, and technical accounting topics
-
Well versed in the implementation of new accounting guidance (GAAP or IFRS)
-
Skilled in accounting transitions ( e.g. lease accounting, revenue recognition, etc.), reconciliation and restatement support.

Superior supervisory experience of teams including performance appraisal, mentoring / coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in relevant academic area or equivalent relevant work experience
-
15+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, or related field, either in professional services or industry.

Professional Certification such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or similar strongly preferred.

Protiviti operates in a hybrid environment. Travel can occur throughout the month based upon client requests/commitments. Travel may include suburban, regional, or out of state locations.

Protiviti’s Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) provides additional incentive opportunities on top of their annualized salary for eligible employees. In addition to base and bonus pay, our people are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave of up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. Protiviti provides paid Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) our people receive varies based on their years of service. A new hire receives up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. For every 3 years of service, our people receive an additional 3 days of CTO, up to a maximum of 30 days per year. Our people also receive up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year. We offer the opportunity to contribute to our company 401(k) savings and investment plan, with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions for eligible employees.
