The British Embassy Copenhagen is looking to recruit a new colleague to join Scotland’s trade and inward investment agency (SDI) and lead on Scotland’s commercial activities in Advanced Technologies. From leading Europe’s small satellite manufacturing to establishing next-generation spaceports in the High North, Scotland has emerged as a powerhouse in space innovation. We’re seeking an ambitious professional to help shape this growing sector and work with other advanced technologies that Scotland leads in. Based at the British Embassy Copenhagen and working closely with other UK departments, you will also be responsible for strengthening partnerships with Nordic stakeholders to help Scottish companies to internationalise. What we offer:
- This is a full-time, permanent contract, subject to a 3-month probation period;
- 35-hours working week with a focus on work-life balance, this role is primarily office-based. Flexible working of 1-2 days may be possible, subject to line manager agreement. The job holder will be expected to travel 10-20 days/year.

You will be able to develop your communications skills, and access wider in-house training and funding for Learning & Development courses, in agreement with your line manager;
