Part- Time – 12hrs to 20 hrs per week. (School Hours/flexible working would be considered for

Company Overview: 

The Ecology Partnership is a successful ecological consultancy in Leatherhead, Surrey with over
20 years’ experience in the sector. Due to growth and development, we are looking to strengthen
our team with the addition of a skilled and motivated Resource Scheduling Planner/
Administrative Assistant
. The company undertakes a range of protected species surveys (bats, dormice, reptiles) and
botanical surveys, to inform scheme design for the planning process and conservation projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the planning and
coordination of projects across the Homes Counties and South of England. We see this as a
hybrid role, with the position split into resource scheduling and assisting the Project
Administrator with various daily admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule planned survey works effectively amongst our team of ecologists and
    subcontractors.
  • Utilise knowledge of the geographical areas to optimize project planning and resource
    allocation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are imported into the shared
    calendar.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce innovative ideas to enhance team
    performance.
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Working with existing administrative staff with regards to staff expenses, invoices, company vehicles, etc
  • General Administration and various ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the Home Counties, South East and its motorway/road networks.
  • Previous experience as a scheduling assistant within a similar field desirable but not
    essential.
  • Keen, driven attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
