Principal Data ScientistX3 days a week in officeXcede are delighted to be working an organisation who have a truly global reach within their field. The company deal with a wealth of both structured and unstructured data in order to help their clients understand their millions of customers better. The organisation builds impactful Data Science and Machine Learning tools for these clients, too.The company have a pre-established Data Science & Machine Learning unit headed up by a very experienced Head of Data Science, and they are continuing to expand their team with the hire of another Principal Data Scientist.Preferred skills and expertise include: Recommendation Systems, Segmentations, Forecasting, Casual AI, MMM (Media Mix Modeling), NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs, RAG, etc.Responsibilities

• Build and deploy effective statistical and machine learning models.
• Advise on proper Model Deployment infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide other Data Science team members.
• Collaborate with a huge variety of stakeholders

Requirements

• An MSc / PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or similarly relevant area.
• Extensive commercial experience building Machine Learning & Data Science models for Recommender Systems, Pricing Elasticity, Forecasting, NLP, Computer Vision models, etc.
• Strong Model Deployment & software engineering skills to contribute to Machine Learning Engineering tasks.
