DescriptionThe Triton Timber Group is a full scope underwater forestry and reclaimed wood products company. They specialize in all aspects of the value chain from harvesting of submerged forests to the manufacture and sales of enhanced reclaimed wood products. Learn more about Triton at .While Canada will be your home base, you will represent Triton with potential clients around the world including reservoir owners; government agencies and local stakeholders such as suppliers, universities or NGO’s. Project work will include:

• Underwater forest resource analysis
• Licence and permit development
• Analytics – forest inventory, GIS mapping and data base management
• Harvest and environmental management planning

Your Profile

• A forest resource management professional with a minimum of five years’ experience in progressively senior roles.
• You have competent skills related to GIS, GPS, cartography, navigation and inventory analysis. You are comfortable working in remote field locations to desk-based analysis and report writing.
• Competency in spoken and written English. Bi-lingual in French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Your love to travel and have a high level of emotional maturity. You have a passport (or able to obtain) and valid driver’s licence.
