We are actively seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Northfield, Illinois location. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Your primary role will be to manage customer orders, handle customer inquiries, and maintain accurate customer records.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main point of contact for all customer inquiries and order updates, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
• Accurately receive and process customer orders through various channels such as EDI, email, and phone.
• Carefully verify the details of each order, including pricing and inventory availability.
• Coordinate closely with production and warehouse teams to guarantee prompt order fulfillment.
• Provide customers with relevant product information, delivery schedules, and lead times.
• Efficiently address and resolve any customer concerns, discrepancies, or issues that may arise.
• Maintain meticulous customer credit records and process credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions when needed.
Requirements • Proven experience in Customer Service is a must-have for the role.
• Proficiency in Data Entry is essential to manage and organize information.
• Experience in Email Correspondence is necessary for effective communication with clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data management and analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word is needed for creating and editing documents.
• Experience in Order Entry is crucial to ensure smooth operations.
