CFP Landscape and Heritage
Due to recent relocation of our key south Wales team member and some upcoming maternity leave, we need someone to help deliver projects across the UK but with a significant element of face to face or site-based work in Wales.
Much of our work is done remotely and the whole team went free range in 2020, and we are now located in the midlands, Glasgow, Salford and Eryri. We are currently at 7 permanent staff along with casual staff and regular student placements.
We need an experienced member of the team who will help grow our work across Wales as well as play a key role in other projects east of the border.
The advert covers three levels of our team as we are open to applications from people with differing levels of experience as we want to see who would best fit our team and our plans for the future.
Key elements of the role will include:
- Identifying and helping to secure new work – we want to develop our portfolio further and create new collaborations and partnerships in Wales and you will have the opportunity to contribute to this growth.
- Project development and management – helping with options appraisals, feasibility studies, Heritage Fund development stage works, funding bids
- Monitoring and evaluation – designing evaluation frameworks and logic models, running quantitative surveys, analysing data, report writing and presentations
- Community consultation and stakeholder engagement – from helping with consultation events, designing surveys, undertaking evaluation interviews to running workshops
- Activity planning – helping to understand current and potential audiences, visitor profiling, catchment analysis, designing activity programmes
YOUR BACKGROUND
You will need to have background in built or natural heritage and preferably skills in one of the following areas:
- project development and management
- community consultation and engagement
- evaluation
We would really value a Welsh speaker to be part of our team, our MD is a Welsh learner but the ability
to converse and write in Welsh would be of tremendous value.
