Our dedicated team works collaboratively to foster a love of learning and to ensure every student reaches their full potential.The Role:We are seeking a passionate and experienced History Teacher to join our dynamic Humanities department on a full-time basis. This position is to cover a maternity leave from September 2024 until December 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History up to GCSE level, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that ignite students’ curiosity and interest in the past.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality History lessons to GCSE students.Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and high standards of behaviour.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Proven experience teaching History at secondary school level, particularly up to GCSE.An enhanced DBS on the update service.Up-to-date safeguarding training.Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.Application Process:If you are an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher looking to join a supportive and high-achieving school, we would love to hear from you.
