As a Brand & Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring successful launch of our inline and collaboration campaigns that elevate our brand and engage with our target audience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including creative, product, digital, and local marketing teams to create campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sell through.
You will also be responsible for managing the upkeep of the seasonal brand marketing calendar, from collection kick-off meetings and the full Go To Market process, delivering compelling seasonal preview events that kickstart the sales campaign to working with the internal and external partner agencies to deliver the corresponding marketing campaigns that engage and inspire consumers and translate across all channels.
As JanSport becomes more and more established in the EMEA market you will also be responsible for translating the global JanSport vision for the managed markets. Developing the translation of the global brand strategy and combining with the local field marketing leads to ensure these are successfully activated.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
- Campaign & Content Management: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring strategic alignment with brand objectives. Manage relationships with creative agencies and internal teams, overseeing the briefing, feedback, and approval process to deliver impactful campaigns. Oversee the seasonal brand marketing calendar, ensuring coordination with key business initiatives, product launches, and marketing moments. Develop and manage campaign toolkits, maintaining brand consistency and quality across all brand touchpoints;
- Seasonal Sales Events: Manage and align with internal stakeholders as well as external agencies to deliver compelling digital and physical seasonal sales preview events (international GTM Sales Conference);
- Project Budget Management: Plan, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Track expenses and provide regular budget updates to key stakeholders;
- Visual Merchandising (VM) Guidelines Development: Develop creative VM concepts and oversee the execution of VM guidelines together with global and local VM teams to ensure a cohesive and engaging brand presence in retail spaces;
- Trade Marketing Management: Lead the trade marketing structure to deliver innovative and engaging trade / sales tools to help support the success of the sales campaigns;
- E-com Content Creation: Ownership of creation of Eastpak e-com content and support to brand creative content coordinator in their role to collate content creation and ensure the upkeep of brand media portals and communications to the markets;
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing marketing team; Trade Marketing Specialist & Creative Content Coordinator, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide clear direction, feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
Skills for Success
To succeed in this role you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Master’s degree/MBA is a plus;
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, campaign marketing, or a similar role within the lifestyle or consumer goods industry;
- 2+ years’ team management experience;
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills;
- good interpersonal/communication skills and level of strategic thinking;
- Experience in marketing communications, campaign development and execution;
- Deep understanding of an ever-changing marketing landscape and experience in project management;
- Consolidated understanding of and passion for the lifestyle, fashion and entertainment industry.
