As a Director IT, you will lead the Honeywell Aerospace Separation activities for our Talent/Human Resource related IT systems and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and successful separation of these critical systems. You will report directly to our Sr Director, IT Aero Separation Leader and impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the Aero business unit by leading the separation of IT systems, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead the Aero Separation team in the planning, execution, and management of the separation of all end-to-end HR solutions (HCM, Payroll, Time & Attendance, HR Case Management, etc.).
· Serve as the primary liaison between Honeywell and the selected vendor, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
· Facilitate regular meetings and communications to track progress, address challenges, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
· Oversee and manage all aspects of the IT separation project, ensuring effective planning, execution, and reporting.
· Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate project success and alignment with industry standards.
· Assess and allocate resources effectively to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget.
· Coordinate with internal and external resources to fulfill IT needs throughout the separation process.
· Create comprehensive documentation to support infrastructure decisions, processes, and compliance requirements.
· Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards in the setup of IT infrastructure.
· Work closely with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure that infrastructure solutions align with business objectives.
· Foster a collaborative environment to address potential obstacles and promote alignment across teams.
YOU MUST HAVE:
· Minimum of 8 years of experience.
· Strong knowledge and experience with IT solutions supporting Human Resources/Talent organizations.
· Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT projects.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Experience working with external vendors and managing vendor relationships.
· Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in application security.
WE VALUE:
· Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Experience in M&A with a focus on separation of IT systems.
· Experience in the aerospace industry.
