Role: The Project Manager reports to AVP, Global PMO, and ensures that the projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard. He or she identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions in order to optimize the business processes and workflow; thereby participating in the achievement of the company’s goals and the satisfaction of our clients.Your Day with Equisoft:

  • Your work will be split across two related areas of responsibilities under the PMO umbrella.
  • Audit, Improve, Monitor, Report on projects being run under the individual Regions in a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of project deliveries, processes and gates as defined by the Project Management Life Cycle
  • Understand standard implementation methodologies, phases of project implementation, ceremonies, risks and issues and what to watch out for to ensure a project does not derail
  • Performs independent and effective audits (operational, process, IT) of projects as per PMLC, Peer Review Gate, Implementation Methodologies and PMO best practices, in accordance with the audit schedule approved by PMO
  • Monitors and reports on project, program and portfolio level data and able to catch anomalies in the data, present it in various ways from an executive audience to a project team audiences’ perspective.
  • Able to identify and predict any project behaviors, data, risks and issues and help the PMs avoid them or mitigate them
  • Able to liaise well with regional PMOs and Regional Delivery teams in moving projects from Red to Amber and to Green using best practices, guidance, cross regional collaboration, and standard PM knowledge
  • Contributes to the development of the Project Management Life Cycle Gates, the audit methodology and tools specifically in support of the audits and assessment tools
  • Effectively follows up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure projects realign with best practices, improve delivery execution and mitigate risks
  • Running projects under the umbrella of the PMO
  • Identify, plan and manage the development and implementation stages of assigned projects
  • Assure communication channels are open and keep all stakeholders informed and up to date on delivery status, risks, mitigations, dependencies. Must also resolve communication around project/ program and make sure dependencies and constraints are resolved in a timely manner
  • Plan, monitor and control the scope, the risks, the costs, the change requests, the outstanding issues, the human resources and the communications for all assigned projects
  • Evaluate the tasks to be completed and identify resource requirements (human, financial and material)
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, as well as deliverables quality standards
  • Assist the stakeholders and sponsors during the project definition and kickoff period
  • Promote interaction and cooperation between the stakeholders (internal / external) and the project teams
  • Maintain management indicators records on the projects progress and control the change requests related to these projects
  • Assure the program achieves expected results and strategic goals
  • Understands related constraints of interdependent projects, and guides team members accordingly
  • Facilitate change management as part of project/ program, or ensure that it is properly managed by the client organization

Requirements:Technical

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with Project Management focus, Information Technology or related field
  • Internal or external audit experience
  • A minimum of 7 years project management experience PMP certified or Scrum Master certified
  • Excellent knowledge of the Agile methodology
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
