The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for delivering agreed recognition targets and positioning the PTE suite of tests as the tests of choice within institutions; working with institutions to raise the profile of PTE and related testing products and building brand awareness and demand for English language tests within their territory.
The Client Relationships Manager will also collaborate with ELL colleagues globally to drive activity between sending and receiving markets. They represent the interests of the US in product development and will provide market information to the business.
This is a remote/home-based position with approximately 25% travel, including visits to college campuses and national meetings. Please note that we do not offer relocation packages for this position. The ideal candidate should be based in or around:

Main Responsibilities

Develop and execute a tactical plan across higher education institutions within the territory, with the aim of securing the highest level of endorsement/use/status of/for the PTE portfolio.

Build and manage relationships with Admissions Offices, International Offices and other university leaders and staff to secure the highest level of awareness and endorsement for the PTE portfolio.

Using a mix of sales and influencing skills, to develop university and college relationships to demonstrate the benefits of the PTE portfolio.

Utilizing campus visits and virtual campus days to consistently connect with 15+ faculty/staff members daily, employing effective consultative sales techniques.

Proactively position the PTE portfolio and expand brand and product awareness and understanding with key external stakeholders including education associations, study consortiums and recruiting agents.

Showcase the PTE portfolio at industry conferences, forums and events.

Provide support to universities and colleges through the organization of workshops and seminars on English language testing.

Keep informed about developments within higher education, competitor activity and Pearson products.

Collaborating with key sending regions on activities to grow US bound test takers

Providing support to universities and colleges for score verification, recruitment and admissions.

Maintaining accurate and timely tracking and forecasting in OneCRM (Salesforce.com).

Demonstrating excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

Delivering effective presentations to stakeholders via industry conferences, forums, webinars or social platforms.

Understanding of market dynamics, competitive positioning and how our value proposition serves customers and stakeholders.

Key requirements

Ability to travel. The role will require travel within the territory to meet with universities /colleges, attend events and other stakeholders.

Computer and Microsoft literate & able to use a CRM system

Proficiency with Office tools, mobile technologies, computer applications, and business systems.
Desirable:

Knowledge of English language assessments or with educational testing.

Experience working within a university or admissions/recruitment office environment at a senior level.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Minimum full-time salary range is between $55000 – $60000
